Alcorn State Battles but Falls Twice Against Jackson State in Sunday Doubleheader

LORMAN, MS – Alcorn State baseball fought hard but dropped both ends of a Sunday doubleheader against Jackson State at Rat McGowan Stadium. The Braves fell 14-0 in game one and came up just short in a spirited 7-6 loss in game two. Despite the results, Alcorn (6-32, 2-19 SWAC) showed resilience, particularly in the second game where they mounted several rallies to nearly force extra innings.

Bernard Martin, Jamyiyah Cotten, and Reyfield Adams all delivered key performances across both games, while the pitching staff battled against one of the SWAC's most potent offenses.
