Grambling State Soars Past Alcorn State 11-0

Led by Marquise Givens’ three goals Grambling State breezed past Alcorn State 11-0 to advance to the semifinals on Friday against Prairie View A&M.

Six other Lady Tigers scored in the win, including two apiece by Anita Dominique and Lynsey Carrier.

The GSU defense held the Lady Braves to just two shots in the match. Goalkeeper Cherie Silas pitched her seventh shutout of the season.
