Jay Hopson and his staff were eager to get to the fax machine this morning to find out who would join the Alcorn State football team for the 2015 season.

This years' class includes 27 outstanding players from the states of Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas, South Carolina, Louisiana and Alabama.

Coach Hopson is expecting all of the signees to contribute right away, as the Braves look to defend their SWAC title in the upcoming football season.

"We are very excited about the group of guys we signed today," said Hopson. "We recruited players that could come make an immediate impact and that wanted to become a Brave."
