BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Southwestern Athletic Conference has selected Alcorn State's Tatiana David and Trevee Kelley as the SWAC Track & Field Athletes of the Week for April 8. The Braves duo swept the weekly honors.

David tied for first in the high jump with a career-best 5'4. She also ran a personal best time of 14.30 in the 100m hurdles for a second place finish. The Homestead, Fla. native leaped for a career best 17'11 in the long jump.

Trevee Kelly

On the men's side, Kelly recorded one of the best times in the league so far this season. In the 400m dash, he clocked in with a time of 48.80. The junior out of Slidell, La. also earned two fifth place finishes with a season best 1:57 in the 800 and a 4:17 in the 1500.
