Braves Face New Orleans in Two-Game Slate

After defeating Mississippi Valley in a weekend series in their SWAC home opener, the Braves baseball team will hit the road to face New Orleans this evening and tomorrow evening at Maestri Field in New Orleans, La.

The Braves almost defeated the Privateers last year but fell short of one run. Earl Burl II and Jared Listach led the Braves this past weekend with two homeruns a piece. Head Coach Barrett Rey believes that the second half of the season will be better for the Braves.

The Braves are facing a 6-14 team who has wins over Houston Baptist, Tulane, Southern, South Alabama, Troy, and Texas Southern.

First pitch for both days are set for 6:30 p.m.
