Box Score Jamsion Knox and
Haiden McCraney were named players of the week earlier today for their performance against Mississippi State this past Saturday. Though the Braves lost these two players still managed to post some great stats.
Knox, a senior defensive back from Memphis, Tenn. recorded season-highs of six tackles and three pass break-ups. Knox now has 6.5 tackles on the season. Earlier this season he was named to the 2013 All-SWAC Second Team Defense.
McCraney, a freshman from Jackson, Miss., punted the ball eight times for 344 yards and an average of 43.0 per punt. He also placed to of his punts inside the 20 and remained perfect in the made PATs category (9-for-9).
Other notables:
Damon Watkins-So., LB: Recorded 10 tackles for the Braves this past Saturday.
Tollette George - Jr., WR: Scored the Braves only touchdown of the game against Mississipp State. He also caught four passes for 80 yards.
Devon Francois - Jr., S: Recorded 10 tackles for the Braves
