Birmingham, Ala.-The Southwestern Athletic Conference selected senior pitcher Deanna Rancillio as the SWAC Pitcher of the Week for her performance last week against Alabama A&M and Grambling.
Rancillio pitched in all three games in the Lady Braves weekend series sweep against Alabama A&M and four games total during the week. She pitched 22 innings in her four appearances, tossing one shutout. She allowed eight runs on 17 hits, struck out nine batters and allowed only two walks. Rancillio is on a four-game winning streak after picking up the win against Grambling earlier in the week.
