Frost Scores Game-High 23 Points in Lady Braves Loss to James Madison

Box Score Harrisonburg, Va. – Senior Tierro Frost scored a game-high 23 points as the Lady Braves suffered their fourth loss of the season to James Madison, 87-42 at the Convocation Center.

James Madison got on the scoreboard first but Cortini Cooper scored her first points of the season on a steal and layup to tie the game at 2-2 with 18:31 to play in the first half.

The Lady Dukes went on an 11-0 run after Cooper's layup to increase their lead to 11-2 which ended when Tierro Frost nailed her first three-pointer of the night to cut the lead to 11-5 at the 13:52 mark.

The game went downhill for the Lady Braves from there as James Madison opened up a huge lead outscoring the Lady Braves 43-11 to close out the half. James led at the half 54-16.

The Lady Braves played better in the second half trading baskets with James Madison scoring 26 points to James Madison's 33 points.

Along with 23 points, Frost also grabbed five rebounds and made a season-high four three-pointers.

James Madison had five players in double figures in the win over the Lady Braves.

The Lady Braves (1-4) are off for the holidays until they return home on Dec. 5 to face Tennessee Tech.
