Devon Francois was chosen as the Defensive Player of the Week by the Southwestern Athletic Conference for his performance last vs. Prairire View.
Francois recorded 12 tackles (7 solo, 5 assist) and intercepted two passes in the Braves victory over Prairie View 50-35 in their home finale.
He also leads the team in tackles with a total of 82 and recorded his third game of the season with 10 or more tackles.
This was the third time fifth time this season that one of the Braves football players has been honored for their performance.
